You’re impressive on paper, now’s your chance to show us the mettle! An in-person interview with one of our senior members will test your abilities and give you a chance to show off some skills.

Mandatory meeting times are Saturday 10am-3pm
Self-starting: you take initiative and do things without being asked

Communicative: you work well with others and are respectful to teammates
We are accepting applications from all students of UBC so don’t be scared, we already have team members from Arts and Sciences!
Note that second term recruitment is a time to fill holes in the team, so training will be somewhat limited compared to those who join in September.

Payload Systems Engineer
A brand new team focusing on camera mounting and stabilization, designing a ground robot to be released from an aircraft at altitude, and air to ground communications.
- Solidworks and structure design
- Working knowledge of servos and motor control
- Experienced with prototyping using Arduino and Raspberry Pi
- Experience with RF communications
- Willingness to self learn and take control of subprojects
